Restorative Dentistry

Cavities cause decay of teeth leading to pain and infection. We remove the decay and fill the teeth with either an amalgam (Silver filling) or composite filling (matched up to your own tooth colour). Only the best, safest and most reliable filling materials are used.

Crowns are used to restore teeth with extensive decay, large fractures or root canal treated teeth. We offer porcelain as well as zirconia crowns.

Bridges are used to restore missing teeth or gaps, to ensure essential functioning (like chewing etc). Also offered in porcelain or veneer options

Paediatric Dentistry

Teaching kid’s good oral care from young age is an investment in his/her lifelong health. At Flamingo Health and Dental Centre, we are passionate about treating kids. We try to help alleviate their fear and make their dental visits fun and anxiety free. We see patients from as young as 3 years old. If they start to visit us early before the problems set in, we can achieve an atraumatic experience much easier.

We offer cleaning and polishing, oral hygiene instructions as well as fillings. We also offer preventative therapies like fissure sealants and fluoride. More serious problems can be treated under sedation or general anaesthetic. Orthodontic problems can also be dealt with.

Along with bridges dentures, implants replace missing teeth, but they look and feel more natural. They are long lasting and low maintenance.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is required when the nerve of the tooth is infected, either through decay or injury. Symptoms experienced is usually severe pain. We use a rotary endo system with titanium rotary files to remove the nerve and clean the canals. Root canal treatment is preformed over one to two or three visits.

Myobrace

If your child breathes through their mouth, grinds their teeth, sucks their thumb, or has difficulty swallowing (such as drooling), it’s important to schedule a consultation. We offer a specialized treatment to address these habits and can correct crooked teeth during the crucial developmental years (ages 5 to 15). ClearPath

ClearPath is a form of orthodontic therapy using a transparent smooth splint, which corrects the position of teeth. This concept has been used to successfully treat many adult cases.
